how 'bout those HUGE retail sales revisions from Jan.... Bubba couldn't have that data get out of the bag back in Jan when the bond mkt looked to crash now could he.. ho ho ho

This is not about DELL or investment in general. I am just trying to understand your statement:

as I didn't grow up in a North American society. However, from an immigrant's POV, it seems to me that compared to South Asian countries, one finds it very hard to buy anything locally produced (as opposed to locally distributed) in the USA. Here I find supermarkets and departmental stores which are the same throughout the country whereas in India I had my local vegetable grower with his own tract of land, local butcher who raised his own livestock, local dairy farm, local tailor etc. which I am very nostalgic about. In fact, back in India I knew where to find a local clone maker but I had a hard time finding one in Boston!

Just venting my nostalgia! :-)
