I have seen my own personal philosophy on life change several times during the course of 64 years. Eventually, I guess we all come to realize that God isn't going to speak to us personally and that we are pretty much on our own. I haven't figured out what rules He follows, if any, when He does decide to make a dramatic/miraculous intervention in a person's life. It all seems so random some times. I have lost interest in formal religion as a result, but I have not lost faith in the existence of a loving, Higher Power. I suspect that when He finally let's us in on the joke that we will see that we took life way too seriously. (All references to "He" are simply an effort to follow traditional references and are in no way intended to diminish the female gender or to suggest that God might not be a woman.) ggg
