Couldn't say. I wouldn't think GCTI would fit CSCO's strategic focus that well. If a buyout comes, I would expect it to be a software, not a hardware company. Must be some good whisper numbers floating around, eh?

Or maybe it's going up just in sympathy with GEOC. Why CSCO chose that one versus GCTI, I can't say, but I'm not displeased with the action. The Yahoo! thread is more active and will likely have more people with opinions; I suggest you try over there.
