Saint, Bull flags should form on relatively light volume. If it's okay, I'll refer to my book, FYI: • represent brief pauses in a dynamic market move; one of the requirements for flags is that they be preceded by a sharp and almost straight line move • volume should be light during its formation; an important requirement is that volume should dry up noticeably while the pattern is forming (notice you said "dry up", Saint?) • the flag should slope against the trend Hope this helps.
