If you are a power E-Trade customer you already have the number.

I do hope people don't get in the habit of posting a private toll-free number on this thread. If you give it out all you are doing is ensuring that the fast service we get on that private line will bog down with non-eligible customers.

Power E-Trade customers pay good money (through commissions) for the right to receive priority treatment on that line. Let's keep it that way!

BC - I have power etrade and it sucks too. More bullshit to add to the class action - contracts are enforceable and ETRADE has been negligent on ALL issues. I have paid more than commissions by having an account with ETRADE and have specifically engaged another brokerage to document their trade practices.

IE: Discover brokerage - bought 1000 shares XYZ at .50
Etrade - bought 1000 shares XYZ at .50

Put sell at limit of .87 on each - Discover engaged transaction
Etrade held it at Herzog MM, saying it DID NOT GO TO .87, when in fact it went above 1.00

Documented and acknowledged via hard copies with times, dates and lame excuses.
