Every time I've bought a high price stock it has taken a high price dive. So I would put in some protective stops.

I have to assume you have a plan in place, Carolyn.

I have held a few stocks at their highs and seen them plummet only to rise to all-time highs within days or weeks.

It's not a highly recommended way to make money, but I believed in eBay, RealNetworks, iVillage, etc., so I held on. I also sold too early on RNWK and eBay -- twice -- with hard-earned profits.

I suppose you may like PacNet's potential as well as its current status as an ISP in a fast-growing market. Whether that's good enough for you to hold on through this consolidation ...

I am in for the long haul. I do not expect to sell for at least a year, if that.

Aloha,
Paul
