DougHboy, I must of read the "plain English" SEC filing on April 5th. It clearly states the secondary supplier risks at Sprint. Can you post the "plain english" version?

1) April 1st, the SEC filing you posted.

2) April 5th, the "Plain English" SEC filing, which details the risks of a secondary supplier at Sprint.

3) April 6th,: "Ciena stock off after SEC filings spook investors". The SEC filing you posted didn't spook investor, but the one I read on April 5th did.

4) April 7th - 8th "Ciena Takes a Verbal Swipe at Lucent's Tactics". One day after the "Plain English" SEC filing, which provides detailed information on Sprint, Ciena wants to bash Lucent on Freezing the market.

It doesn't require much reading between the lines. Sprint will be selecting a secondary supplier for 2000, and the new builds will include that supplier. Ciena feels Lucent is "Freezing the market". What is your take?
