Let's see, Karl, that would mean bringing down the flag of Joan of Arc, right? Goodness, these deals are wrecking the history of western civilization! <g> I had a student in a speech class about ten years ago who made an excellent case for admitting Hawaii into the Union. When I pointed out that Hawaii had already been in the Union for many years, he dashed out to his car and brought in a copy of "Vital Speeches" of 1956 vintage. The speech he had given was printed therein word for word, and he pointed out that they wouldn't have printed it if it hadn't been a good speech. Go MGAU. Ed D.
