Right, I know it says that. And it's a coincidence that the three generations before Noah have the same names as three generations of Cain's descendents (Enoch, Methusalah/Methusael, Lamech)? Why do you think they bother listing the descendents of Cain? What possible purpose could be served? IMO, it's the editor's way of preserving, at least partially, a variant tradition. BTW, you don't have to share my opinion. I don't mind if you disagree with me. Cheers, Bromide
