I think there are an unusual number of call options in the money this month. Not just for CSCO but for the tech sector as a whole. Many shares are going to be turned over to new owners leaving some people short and others with cash to buy back in. I think that gives many analysts a reason to to spread just enough fear for the next couple of days to move as many issues as they can down another strike point. TP (IMHO - the techs will stagnate then rise on Monday although much depends on whether Intel reports anything unexpected).
