Frankly this war you are fighting isn't going to matter

If INTC gets hit so does AMD. It doesn't matter how many circuits you can fit on the head of wafer. The Street looks at INTC as an indicator of PC market health. If it doesn't see good things in this report then you and Paul can argue about which chip is better than which chip all you want.

The Street will not care. It will just write you off. You can be like a bunch of power supply engineers arguing whether Johnson is better than Honeywell.

===============

You should actually hope the INTC numbers are good. Otherwise the market will conclude very firmly that PC sales are down. When PC sales fall off you can kiss AMD in its current form goodbye. And if fundamentals don't reassert themselves soon, you might as well buy any internet stock you can hit with a dart while blindfolded.
