<<Well don't be so partial to IBM>> I don't believe I said I was. <<they didn't exactly come out and say that they lost a billion dollars in their PC biz either,it wasn't in the fiancials some reporter had to dig up the SEC filings to find this out recently is what I heard>> IBM followed the appropriate SFAS requirement for this year and disclosed on p 80 of their annual report (not positive on the page, my memory isn't completely photographic and gets worse with age). There was no "digging" required, so if you heard that, you were misinformed. As for Dell, can you tell me operating profit in most recent fiscal year from Asia/Pacific region? Thanks.
