Have you noticed what PM Zhu said in his press conference about Taiwan ? (Largely unreported in the US press). When asked about Taiwan, nice, amiable, pacific Zhu said something to the effect of "Well, your President Lincoln went to war to prevent secession..." to which Clinton could only answer that he thought it was not a valid comparison. Ring, ring, ring .... Do you all get the message from our new Chinese friends and trading buddies ? So, what will Clinton do when the Chinese innevitaby make their move on Taiwan ? (I bet they make this move before a tougher customer gets in the White house by the way...)
