Jay- that is typical for an intel 2nd quarter...given the trepidation from the market (that something was really wrong with 1st Q, not just seasonality)...this should give plenty of ammo to bulls who see Q1 simply as seasonality (and Compaq/AMD's own, unique problems).. For sure, though, bears will have some ammo too...the quarter was not a blow-out...bears can spin that into "something is really wrong"..but let's remember the bears original refrain...that PC sales dramatically slowed in Q1, 1999...it seems hard to substantially that case, IMO, if you are fair-minded...
