Shea - I noticed that you tend to post a lot<ggg> - I'm honored. Seriously, it doesn't matter what INTC intentions are (CYA or whatever) - the question is not "what is the objective truth" - but "what does the market THINK, is the truth". We trade on perceptions, not reality. Otherwise, why would I ever play the nets?

However, this is not the end of the world. The numbers were not terrible, and look how the market shrugged off CPQ. Nah, it'll all sort itself out. No panic.

Give me a break! this is not the AMD or CPQ thread...Intc and MSFT ALWAYS give conservative guidance. MSFT was cautious two years ago and if you did'nt know better you would have thought that was the end! MSFT and INTC are money machines 2 BILLION per quarer! BUY heavily on weakness any day of the week for msft and intc. Shea you are 100% correct that INTC and MSFT always use this language I would be worried if they did'nt. good luck everyone.
