Ibexx, thread- I don't understand after-hours (downturn)...unless it is a bear headfake...

Last year, Intel revs fell from 6.5B-6.0B (or greater than 7%) 4Q-1Q
This year, Intel revs fell from 7.6-7.1B (or greater than 6%) 4Q-1Q

About the same...actually this year a bit better..

So, chalking this up (to mostly) seasonality would seem to make sense..

But, then, some claim "yeah, but PIII was launched during the quarter"

BUT, wasn't PII launched during the same fiscal quarter, and at a HIGHER PRICE...

Plus, doesnt Intel always say "Flat to slightly down" during this quarter....(I know you already answered this, Ibexx)..

So, seems like things are pretty normal...why the after-hours down??
