Hmmm... TA does seem helpful (and I could apply myself more there) in terms of setting limit orders, knowing what gaps are and what a stock might retrace to, but...otherwise...people seem to spout a lot of TA and when you look at how successful they are compared to those with an overview based on fundamentals and market sentiment--I don't know that they do better, I think they do worse! Of course, I increasingly believe only in buy and hold--it might be much more necessary for short term trading Mr. Market is a strange fellow--who knows his ways? He's like the wind! (Which is intense this moment in NYC)
