One analyst interviewed on Bloomberg , whose name I missed, said he was pleased with results. When asked as to his thoughts to the direction of stock tomorrow he replied he expects INTC to go up.

John:Lemme put it to you this way,it could have been a whole lot worse.I am glad 5fer was dead wrong with his assessment of the industry. Consider also Intel's introduction of PIII was late in the quarter so the full impact of the PIII is not yet fully felt in the numbers.
