Don't I recall one of Buffets tenets up to now being, buy US? Perhaps he's gone to the UK to find an economy as open as the US but perhaps less richly valued. Seems like a major step for him.

I wonder if we'll see an acquisition or just a quiet investment in a big company? He might buy and insurer outright, but a Coke-like stake seems unlikely. Guiness/Diageo isn't exactly executing to perfection either...

you pretty much have to reinstall Windows to reset it all, from what my PC/LAN guru/co-workers tell me. There are not many people that are capable of going into the registry to change it all back. Besides, i don't know if many people would even know WHAT to change back. I don't.
