OSX versus FSESX

The Fidelity Energy Services Fund (FSESX) usually tracks the OSX very closely, generally lagging just slightly on both the upside and the downside. But today FSESX rose 1.6% versus 0.9% for the OSX.

This kind of outperformance on the upside is very unusual. Perhaps Fidelity has decided to start earning their fees and stop running a closet OSX index fund. Sure hope this outperformance continues.
