INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS GET $ 2 MILLION FROM B.C.


VANCOUVER - Internet service providers based in rural British Columbia will get a larger share of the Provincial Learning Network, the internet based learning link that will join B.C.'s schools and other agencies. The provincial government announced yesterday that it has set aside $ 2 million to assist smaller ISP's in competing for PLNet contracts. PLNet is an internet based link that will join B.C.'s secondary schools, post - secondary colleges , institutes and agencies.
