me, of course. I posted on the thread yesterday about TFSM, bought this a.m. at 49. Loved watching it race to 53, then it came back. My conservative rules right now are not to take a loss. I begged the MM's not to take it below 50,, but at 49 3/4 I had to put in a market to sell. The rest is history. It ran up too fast to allow me to buy back.

The rest of the story is when it was at 30, the day before blast off several weeks ago, I posted here about its heavy volume but no price rise. Then I watched it go up for the next three days.

This was the only stock I traded today.

E-TEK Net Revenues up 109%, Net Income up 153% up 10% on anticipation and a lot more last week. Classic anticipatory upswing. (this might be another for longer term after a pullback, if it even pulls back)

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- E-TEK Dynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ETEK - news) today announced financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended April 2, 1999.

Net revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 1999 were $49.5 million, up 108.5% from $23.7 million reported in the same period of fiscal 1998. Net income for the third quarter of fiscal 1999 was $8.7 million, up 153.4% from $3.4 million reported in the same period of fiscal 1998. Net income per share on a diluted basis for the third quarter of fiscal 1999 was $0.14 compared with $0.06 in the prior year's third quarter.

Net revenues for the nine months ended April 2, 1999 were $121.1 million, up 58.6% from $76.4 million reported in the same period of fiscal 1998. Net income for the nine months ended April 2, 1999 was $20.7 million, up 57.2% from $13.2 million reported in the same period of fiscal 1998. Net income per share on a diluted basis for the nine months ended April 2, 1999 was $0.34 compared with $0.24 in the prior year's nine month period.

2 I am thinking of getting option in tomorrow: VRTS and ONSL.. I missed VISX, which I love, it had pulled back about 7 points and I meant to get back in but now its up over those 7 points.
