Still someone who's recommending a stock be sold short has a vested interest in undermining the value of the stock with negative comments in a widely read forum. Put another way, doing your own analysis is far more accurate and credible than reading such rags as Investors Business Daily and The Wall Street Journal (Which has yet to retract its statement that Sun Microsystems bought Apple Computer in January of 1996) -- invariably these publications have an agenda.
