FG, You said:<<<+ You are not alone on this thread: newbies come lurking all the time and it's for
their benefit that I continue on posting here and on SI. If my posts are repetitious,
just skip them instead of answering them. >>>

I say you are correct and we longs have a responsibility to those newbies to see that you are refuted each time you slam DCHT as your negatives outweigh the positives psychologically, IMO. It has been shown in marketing studies that a negative comment always goes further than a positive one of equal weight. That is why most smart market oriented companies like automobile dealerships and manufacturers are so concerned with CSI these days.

I agree that RAM has been a liability but that is my sensibility. Who knows what the average guy responds best to?

Francios. That post is pretty good. It does suffer from your acceptance of a premise or two which others may not accept as correct. This makes your argument appear, to the unwary, more powerful than it is IMHO.

<<+ Table the overdue set of financials and become reporting. It's going to be
horrible to look at, but not as bad as the current uncertainty. >>

You do NOT know its going to be horrible and you have nothing but admitted "uncertainty" to base such a statement on. Hence I find your statement to contain stilted derogatory intent without informational content to back it up.

<<+ Full disclosure of all significant shareholders and the total shares
outstanding.>>

The most current statement I'm aware of is from Oshinsky on Raging Bull where I believe it is said DCHT hopes, hopes mind you, to become fully reporting in May, with all that that implies. Judge the importance and nature of this event when and if it happens(It'd had better, eh?).

<<+ Show proof that, based on the first Quarter 99 and on existing orders for the
rest of the year, the sensor business is viable and will generate significant
profits. >>

IMHO, there is fair liklihood this can happen. DCHT itself proposes that it can, but does not promise. However, the notion that proof of this MUST happen immediately is a short-sighted notion the likes of which may be only marginally significant to the future success of this company, if at all. I may not lose sleep over this notion for years, if necessary- though it would be fantastic for things to work out so well so soon.

Wonderful might be a mere continuation of the present path of increasing markets served, developing potential markets, and increasing revenues even sans profits. Oh, along with continued R&D(much of it Government funded seems likely IMHO), even an unprofitable near term future such as this puts DCHT in the thick of the race for a stake in the future of Hydrogen power and its safe use, IMHO! ...sigh.

<<+ If all of the above is achieved, it should be possible to show proof that a
source of financing is available to carry out the operations for at least one
year. >>

Interesting. However, possibly needed funding is simply not dependent on whether all of "the above is achieved." Of course, they'll need to not close the doors. Some analysis from this thread seems to indicates that they may have no means of support. Yet they continue to forge ahead with alliances with the likes of Allied signal- which is to use DCHT products for Lockheed/martin by contract with NASA- I could go on. DCHT forges ahead with promotion of their products through active participation in trade showings. The current cash requirements of DCHT may be minimal IMHO. The Technologies they are causing to be employed were developed with Federal Funding. DCHT has garnered significant credibility through it's technologies, customers, and alliances. DCHT recently traveled across the country to show its wares. There is no current operational indication what-so-ever that they lack funds to continue their activities- apparently DCHT goes on because it can, to date. The liklihood that they would be able to aquire further funding if it is needed seems very strong, IMHO.

<<+ When cash flow allows, spend some of it on the fuel cells ideas, although they
are unlikely to show any profit for many years to come.>>

This statement is a directive based on an opinion. The opinion is VERY uncertain, and the directive to "...spend some..." on fuel cells seems dated since the technology has already been developed through a Federally funded National Laboratory, DCHT is in the midst of its planned trade show tour, and applications for DCHT fuel cells are already in development through both Freewing and Allied Signal. You're management accumen may be a bit behind the curve for DCHT, I'm afraid.

<<Conclusion: If all of the above is accomplished with integrity, then credibility
should start to return, the share price will take care of itself and I no longer
will be concerned about the newbies.

Good luck.

Regards, F. Goelo + + + >>

Quite simply, all of the above does not need to be accomplished for DCHT to prosper and it's shares to rise, IMHO. Some of the above can't happen later since it already IS happening.

For two people to argue effectivly, they must know what premises they agree on. Yours here is but an opinion. Credibility cannot "start to return" when in fact it is believed that some substantial credibility has never left. Others here see credibility in DCHT that has never even been challenged. I hereby declare that I believe your premise that DCHT has no credibility is, has been, and will remain, quite false.

Francios, I'd wager all of us here may have the integrity to warn newbies whenever asked. Any newbie who would invest based on reading a few positive posts is probably destined for investment failure regardless what you do here. Most lurkers will come across posts from all of us that will will make plain the seeds of doubt that grow so tall with so little cultivation, as that variety of seed is won't to do. We will be asking what, when, why, and how all along the way even without you. The few who would not instinctively look for the negative case before choosing to invest, as I just indicated, are beyond saving on this thread. I hope you are sorry you sold one fine day. :-)
