D.Long, There was a great article in the Dallas Morning News three days ago about the whole region, situation.

One section was entitled after a quotation from a US Army general "There are No Angels Over There." He pointed out that both sides are thugs and that "it was a tossup who was most thuggish".

The KLA is an organization the article pointed out with ties to Ben Laden and the Taliban Militia in Afghanistan. Also right up until the day of the bombing the KLA too has been committing extra judicial executions of so-called "informants", killing a letter carrier and a young school teacher the week the bombing started.

The article noted that the KLA has "terrorized the Serbian Minority in the Region, burnt Serb villages, etc." Finally the KLA advocates a "greater Albania" where all Albanians would live in one country. Sounds cool except when you realize that there are Albanians not only in Albania, but in Greece, Macedonia, and Montenegro too-i.e., if the KLA succeeds, then the war may only wide in the Balkans.

Hence the Dallas Morning News pointed out that we would need to leave an occupying force of at least 100,000 soldiers for an unlimited duration in Kosovo in order to keep the peace, of roughly about five full divisions of US soldiers in addition to the SFOR Force already in Bosnia!

Presdent Clinton no doubt, has accidentally omitted telling you these "minor details" when he asked for 6.3b US Dollars today to finance "the current stage" of the war today....
