It does but set a new high for today passing the old one of 2.55 and with more news coming this week it very well may be over 3 bucks at the end of week.

The market is full of surprises you just never know who is buying.
Maybe Bill Gates was buying today.

I didn't say it won't fall back. It might--particularly if there's an extended period where no "new" developments are announced. But I like the way the chart is shaping up and do not believe for a moment that $2.50 is the ceiling for MCF.

MCF has alot going for it and the story seems to continue to evolve positively. The trend has been toward more contracts and increasing interest from big players--the likes of Sony and Ford and Microsoft. This being the case, it's not reasonable to assume that MCF's "value" will remain unchanged. Further, the recent drop from $2.50 was in part due to earnings disappointments and a hefty dose of mud-slinging directed at H. Pearl. The market has digested and all but forgotten the criminal record crap, and last quarter's financials will be very old news when the expected results are announced. Further, if you really want to stretch the point, the previous drop in MCF might be attributed in part to generally sloppy market conditions, particularly in February. Check out the action on tech stocks in general during that period...

So to answer your question, Yes, something has changed. Things are constantly changing. Will MCF go through $2.50 THIS time? No way to know for sure. Will it eventually? No question of it, in my opinion.

Cheers,
JP
