My kitties go into other people's yards and poop, they are too genteel to poop in our own. My kitties have killed or driven off all the fauna from our yard, and are canvassing the neighborhood daily, looking for snacks on the hoof, as it were. My kitties are exactly the kind of kitties Lather hates, and I am exactly the kind of cat-owner Lather hates.

This is one of those Great Divides, some people think cats should be kept inside, most people who have cats know better.

My concession to Lather - if you catch one of my kitties in your yard, shoot it - but with a SuperSoaker, please?

Jeez, you people down in Southlake have it so easy...here, the worst freeloaders are raccoons, which seem ever so delightful and cutsey with their little masks until you find they've knocked over your garbage, spread it out all over your teeny weeny little thirty square feet of yard, and dug up half your plants. And if you think a bird will scare the bejeezus out of a little kitty...

In any case, my dear penni, I am sure that your kitties will get adequate chances in future to get back at the nasty birds.

We get lots of hummingbirds around here. I've never had much cause for complaint, although for the life of me I have never heard a signle one hum much of anything.

>Birds are freeloaders. They eat my worms.<

Consider yourself fortunate. Nihil posted on the perils of a Diet of Worms, or something.

>There's plenty of National Park territory out
there without cats <

No there's not. Thanks to Cobalt and all those other cat owners who know better <snort> the national parks are overrun with feral feline vermin.
