My experience with possum and racoons is that the possums are helpful and the coons are messy, even being clean, and leave their hands-dirt in the cats' water dish. They are kyoot peeking in the back door, but.....

I know the worst animal story. Kay? No rash of stories; we just say this is the worst. Kay? People are stupid, ya know, and they try to keep wild animals, and a ferret DID run off with a baby in Portland. DOA.

Life is interesting.

I think Lather makes some good points. Our hunters, of which we have 0 of 4 now, wear bells.

Stumpy could maybe crush a bird, rolling in his sleep, but otherwise they're pretty safe. It does bother me that they can eat say hummingbirds, which live twelve years, mate for life, and will not re-marry. (Or whatever that is in bird talk.)
