Are we doing all this so that the people of Kosovo (which happens to be a province of Yugoslavia) can be free to elect a bunch of medieval-religious-nationalist-wackos (but peace-loving, no doubt) to rule them from now on.

As I said in one of my previous messages, Albania's Islam is a showcase of temperance: nothing in common with the Talebans, Iran, or whatever.

I think the U.S. is acting accordingly to a preemptive strategy: if F. D. Roosevelt would have taken the first step in 1937 then B-29 US bombers would have been sent over Germany and a quick neutralization of Nazi Germany would have spared the world a bloody, useless, outrageous WWII !! I don't claim that Milosevic has the military capability of invading Western Europe; yet, I do believe he's capable of emulating other would-be Milosevics in both Western and Eastern Europe.

If the U.S.A. don't want to send several armies (ie 100Ks of people) in Europe in a few years from now just to save the ''Free World'' once again, then it'd better cure Europe's jingoist tumor right now!

Regards,

Gustave.
