Are we willing to gamble on the fact that the Russians need the IMF more than they care about Yugoslavia ? Based on the current number of miscalculations in this debacle I now seriously doubt that the U.S. administration really knows what they are doing. I think they're taking their strategy from a Poli-sci 101 book. Did you know that NATO asked for 200,000 troops at the start but the U.S. veto'ed that request. If ground troops were allowed this thing would have been over much quicker and with less civilian life loss. This thing needs to end, and end quickly.
