Bill,

That is one of the ripoffs of the NASDAQ! Now matter WHEN George put his buy in for 16 7/8, the MM determine who gets the shares at that point. They can move stock ahead of yours as they please. You will only fill if they decide you fill or if there is no other stock ahead of you. Obviously you fill if the ask moves further down in price. ON the NYSE, it is a first in, first handled situation. The specialist MUST take your order.

Understand, Bill. The question was really rhetorical. I just like to complain sometimes when it appears (temporarily) that I have been cheated out of a good guess.
