does lindy have a point? i never thought that excel would reduce lotus and quattro pro, fine products both in my view, to an insignificant share of the market. thanks for you input. regards

Bring it on MSFT! Thats the point, Toy, softy always does! It may take some time for them to get it right, and tech types like you are always going to be out there holding their noses, but MSFT wins in the end. This ain't George Lucas making a movie,old buddy. The "Evil Empire" you hate so much will end up kicking your butt, and you know it! Remember back in High School, when your favorite team always had one opponent they couldn't beat? That Bill Gate's team, Toy. They have the "Judgement, Brains, and Maturity" that the companies you love just can't match. You know, Toy, I really do feel sorry for you. You are going to spend your entire career having your hat handed to you by Microsoft, and being told not to "let the door hit you in the rear" on your way out. Have you thought of opening up a hot dog stand? If you could run it at a profit up in that socialist paradise, you might be able to sleep better at night. If you can't leave the business, how about going to the Dentist and getting a "Night Guard". That will stop you from grinding your teeth down as you have nightmares of the "Microserfs", by the millions, marching in lockstep over your body. LindyBill
