Explanation of "gap" "voodoo talk." If you drew a tick by tick chart of QCOM trades -- you'd see that between 4:00 P.M. Monday and early in the day on Tuesday (and also -- the rest of recorded history) ... the stock NEVER ever traded between 161 3/16 and (I think it was) 162 5/8.

(161 3/16 was the all time high as of Monday's close).

(162 5/8 was the opening on Tuesday, and the low for the day on Tuesday for a while).

That is a gap.

A few hours later, QCOM fell to 161, eliminating the gap, and keeping some people happy that now, it could resume its ascent.

Jon.

He's just saying that it traded down to the 161 level in order to fill the gap.
