todd..thank you for being the savior of the thread...your thousand share short position will bring you much wealth and happiness..you are my hero...i'm a late comer to dell..set my first long position in august 1996..split adjusted cost is $2...and that doesn't count options written against the long which gives me a negative cost factor...we've become adept at catching the proverbial "falling knife"...as it slips from your hand...only to thrust it back into the heart of the speculative bear...your achievement is chump change...your short position of 1k shares tells me you either don't have the margin line or you're unsure of your position..either way a rank amateur..commit if you are so good...why not short 10k shares..you might impress the burke thread but here you are a bit amusing...wowzers i shorted $40k of stock...boring and juvenile....

Todd,

My experience in life has shown me that there are two types of people here on this beautiful world of ours, the builders and the destroyers.

The Builders generally have a positive outlook on life. Using whatever tools are at their disposal, they will build, embellish and contribute. When their time on earth comes to an end, they can leave peacefully, knowing that with their efforts they left a Legacy behind for others to build upon.

On the other hand, Destroyers rejoice in tearing down the efforts and struggles of others. When the destroyers' time comes to and end, they turn around to proudly see their accomplishments only to find rubble.

>>>The moral of the story being, it is best to earn $1 knowing you've accomplished something beautiful than to earn $1 million knowing you've destroyed the what was once beautiful.
