Steve, Perhaps I confused you somewhere along the way....that can happen sometimes...but, YES GET THE BOOK!!!!

O's are usually thought of as support...ie a TB or triple bottom formed at 11 would be very heavy support at 11, and breaking to the down side of 10 would break that support...likely with a big move to the down side further...

I say likely here, because it does not always happen that way , but does a high percentage of the time...look at MSFT...it broke the TB and turned right around to go even higher there after....
