LG, Threaten this thread with nonsense. Go ahead. You'll get nothing but a bigger dent in your credibility. I'm fed up with the clubiness on your thread. So much so that I'll even respond to your crap here and let you dig your own hole. You purport that my "style" is to try to maneuver my position in such a way that I can be always "seen" as "right" You're delusional. So I came at your thread like a bull in a china shop. The thread shouldn't have left so much china lying around in the first place. You have absolutely no idea as to the depth and breadth of my work and yet you behave like an anal retentive that obviously cannot stomach the least bit of criticism. Your response can be seen as a disgrace to the objectivity required within the dog eat dog world of the market. Your emotional outburst to my posts exposes the flaw of your lack of introspection. High strung individuals have no business in the stock market. Even when I turned on my own post and suggested that it might be taken as a contrary indicator, you scoffed at my own discounting of myself. If you can't discount yourself, you're a fool. I take it that you have never seriously discounted yourself. Now, since I just happened to have been right for every correction AND bottom for each correction over the last 3 years, I don't have to pat myself on the back. As far as my record goes, I've just been right. I never acknowledge anyone's thanks to me for my calls. It's not me that made the decision. It was the decision of those that paid proper attention that made their own decision. BUT it just so happens that I have been right. I have been right about every post I made on your thread. Now you blindly go into a rage in response. My posts may have been blunt but so what. You went into complete denial in that response. You have a problem...not me. I posted to you and never made a personal reference to you. You, on the other hand, went ballistic and resorted to personal insults. All I did was point out an obvious discrepancy between the stated objectives of your thread and the current state of affairs that had persisted for MONTHS. I wasn't even the first to bring up that discerpancy. You may remember the indignant posts you have made to others in the past several months that said almost exactly what I did. You chose the mentality behind your response...not me. That mentality exposes a personal trait that you need to work on. Notice there are no insults here...just constructive crticism. Blunt but constructive. If you wish to continue this discourse, please, do it right here. I have no problem with that. Especially since I was informed that you petulantly labeled this thread's participants as sheep. Think of one person as a sheep and you have said that you are one with the capacity to label ALL people as sheep. Distancing yourself in print from your own remark doesn't change the fact that you are capable of holding that viewpoint. If that's the way you view people, I pity you. What I do here is teach people to expand their own horizons of understanding the markets by applying innovation and discipline within well structured innovative approaches. If you think for one minute that what I do is try to develop a "following", think again. I consider this post to be quite ON TOPIC. The topic is knowledge and being open to advancement rather than falling into a group mindset and a reactionary attitude. In my own "quirky" way, I truly doubt you will actually understand what I have said to you and you will continue on your reactionary course of denial. Doug R
