I just read the annual report and still have a big position which I will hold for the long term. I will wait until later this year to add to the position unless it gets down to 15 in the meantime. The summer will be bumpy for the market and C-Cube will ge thrashed around.

Here are a few of my observations from the annual report:

1. Cube is sitting on $ 5.10 per share in cash (at 15 I figure it really only cost me $10 - a great buy. By 6/30/99 should be sitting on $5.67 if my calcs are correct.

2. Say what you want about Alex, I still think he is a genius and will figure his way through this difficult maze and win!!! He is young and needs our patience.

3. Last year Cube invested 21% of its sales into research. In the last 3 years Cube has spent $182 Million on research (about $4.50 per share). They will get a great return on their research... eventually. Something will hit big.

4. Cube had a huge sales gain and now they have plateaued for the last 3 years in the 300-400 million range in sales. They will break out on the upside it is a matter of when.

5. Michael Murphy just recommended them as a buy. He is a bright guy but often too early in his recommendations. It may take a year to get the price of Cube moving.

6. Those who are patient will be rewarded.

7. Before the powers that move the stock up move it up, they will run all the stops, just like they did in March of 95. Cube will probably tank on a bad rumor before it takes off for the sky. It may be a long time 1 or 2 years before this happens.

In summary I am still a believer who is willing to wait. Digital Video is coming and C-Cube will have their share of this market as it unfolds.
