As far as earnings surprises, BTGC came in right on expectations for Q4 (12/98) at 0.10. Q3 they made 0.10, which was a 25% upside surprise if I recall correctly that estimates were only 0.08 that quarter. For Q1 to be only 0.08 I am surprised a bit. BTGC gives analysts overall guidance and lets the analysts break out their numbers quarter by quarter. I spoke with BTGC a while back asking if there were any major expenses that would hit this quarter that would cause estimates to be lower from Q4 and was told nothing out of the ordinary. And last conference call they indicated that revenues would grow faster than expenses in 1999. Dave
