Yesterday I pulled down the two-year charts of what are now my key holds, QCOM, GNET, RNWK and NTAP. Two years ago, I wasn't even thinking about these....my focus was entirely in other areas of the market. Shame on me. These have returned an average 50X in that time and my piece of that is pale by comparison.

If the question is: How can we do better?, then perhaps it would be well for us also to be looking for some of the tiny places to put some of our dollars. Clearly they will be techs? Are there other threads we should be watching. Are there any monitors here who have some suggestions for us about specific technologies or companies.

Anybody against us all becoming as rich as we want to be?

Yes it is, but not as good as it was. It has dropped in market share of PCs from 94% to 34% in the last year. (reported on CNN today).

These numbers can't be right. Perhaps they are percentage of the retail market. Certainly not the overall PC market.
