Arik: Why is the product mix going to be skewed lower. You are neglecting the fact that for every client sold their is pressure on the server side to upgrade. Xeon will cause the high end to do quite well. Also INTC is making inroads into other high value added chip areas in communications. I would not make the mistake of equating INTC's fortunes with more low end cpu's being sold. I will venture that by the end of the year they will have sold more hi end chips than you can imagine. They will do quite nicely margin % wise onthe low end in any event. This is America's premier industrial company and it sells at a discount to just about every company that isn't fit to lace its silicon boots. How much $/share is MOT going to make in 99 and it is already up at 82/share.
