Sig, I agree with your point that the others make up for DELL being down recently. My holdings in AWRE, LVLT, RCNC, and RTHM have taken my portfolio to new heights.

Diversification has become increasingly important to the long term holders of DELL.

DELL will never move as well as it did in the past three years, and those that think it will are taking foolish risks. DELL, like many great stocks before it, is maturing and with that maturing comes a slowing in price performance.

The slowing is here to stay. Not to say that DELL is dead money, but rather there are much better opportunities for robust (quick) growth.

Nothing wrong with keeping DELL as a core equity holding. Just don't bet the farm on it.
