I don't usually run the numbers except for Wednesday and Friday evening, but making an LU Max-Pain Point&#153 analysis this morning seemed appropriate. Based on yesterday's final CBOE open interest figures, the Max-Pain Point&#153 for LU is flat from $50 to $52.5. If you assume $50 to produce the maximum profit for the option writers, then a stock price of $60 produces $68M of pain ie less than maximum profit, for the MM's and $65 produces $134M in pain.

This chart isn't posted but I will update all the charts this evening.

Just saw very negative piece on CNBC re lucent. Bears must be hurting and desperate to get price to go lower. I guess bad news is laways better than good news if you are a TV reporter.
