At this point in time, I think Qwest is indifferent. They just want traffic, not necessarily traffic of a particular type. I think they plan on making money from renting their pipeline, not restricting it.

Qwest might actually get more business because Cable alienates AOL?! Mindspring?!!!

Then again, Qwest is fiber, not cable. Very different service, generally geared for a different kind of client.

I have a dream that QWST buys Mindspring or Roadrunner.
Now that would be interesting.

Scotsman,

Quest is infrastructure, not industry specific. They will lease bandwidth to anyone, including cable companies.
