crawdads, yes and i couldn't tell you why i never could bring myself to suck the heads though [i'm not into brain sucking....yet] :-( my Dad however is a connoisseur. way deep down in the depths of his soul i'm sure he feels a failure as he never has been able to enlighten his daughter in the way of the brain. when i go down and visit we have a deal, he sucks the heads and i pinch the tails. Bozo's, a little off the beaten path restaurant near Pontchartrain has the freshest crawdads and ersters. Acme's isn't bad in the quarter either there was an Irish contingency in New Orleans [port city] during the potato famine.
