edamo...heheh..you're a real character. one does not "lose" until a position is closed. I know that. In fact, if you read a little closer before being rude, you'll note that I specifically said "lost on paper." Whateva... I'm not a pure short seller. As I have said, I have played Dell both long and short. I currently have other long positions - in fact, I just picked up IP Monday on the heels of BTAB's upgrade, and that's working out quite nicely, thank you. If I see strength, I buy it. If I see weakness, I sell it. Right now, I see some serious signs of weakness in the PC industry. Dell is the most expensive/extended component in that industry; therefore, I sold it. And there you go again calling me irresponsible. BTW, I used some previously earned stock market "wealth" to pay for all of those items I mentioned (except the baby, of course. <gg>) My "bills" are rather miniscule thanks to that sizable infusion. Just so you understand, that's real dollars - not paper. watch the open...the next week may surprise you I did indeed watch the open, and am yet to be surprised. Were you? And one final thing - I thought that you might understand that a quiet confidence comes from strength in conviction; however, your brash rudeness and insults indicate a defensive posture. If you are so sure of yourself, why do you seemingly find me such a threat? All the best, Todd Note: this post is directed at edamo, and not the entire thread. He's being very rude and condescending to me for no apparent reason other than my voicing of a contrary opinion. I have no bone to pick with anyone. I am only trying to do the same thing everyone else here is trying to do - that is make money.
