Very confusing. Don't know whats going on.

Sarmad, i see Low volume + large daily trading ranges as:

On a daily basis, the MMs have balanced inventories and are largely un-involved and the e-traders are facing each other in a more direct way.

Since Amazon loses money on every book it sells, perhaps the market is not enamored with the concept of ever increasing loses on the promise that some day a profit may arrive. As I have stated in the past, this company will never make an annual profit and may not survive long enough to make a quarterly one. Bezos is the most dangerous type of CEO, a bright, articulate person who is just wrong about the future. It will be Intel, Microsoft, and Cisco who get rich off the Internet, not Amazon.

Amazon is amazing this morning. I don't know whether this is the calm before the storm,
or what. Volume very very low. and very subdued reaction to the new warehouse. Very
confusing. Don't know whats going on.

Sarmad,

I believe the love affair with the Inets is coming to an end. All major market indices are up a fair amount and the DOT is down 20. There appears to be a rotation into the cyclicals.
