Rakecky:3COM 3rd Qtr seasonally weak & normal- 4thqtr should be Great Note: A slowdown in the U.S. and Latin American enterprise markets, a weakness in the traditional two-tier distribution channel, and lower than expected PC OEM sales all contributed to third quarter lower results. But please note: Asia has bottom out and should start to pick up. 3COM has market presence there and should boost 1st qtr results and maybe add to this coming 4th qtr. Prelimiary 4th results will probably be early Jun 99. It my opinion, WS & MM has their bad feeling with Eric B. however they will wake up in the next couple of weeks to find 3COM being bought out then they will start jumping in on the bandwagon. I taken the long ride down from 51 and understand & know the true value of 3com.. In addition, it's future growth potential especially in the FarEast where COMS has a great presence.
