Quantum Corporation invites all members of the press attending
NAB'99 to participate in this year's most innovative
television-watching experience, which is a result of a development
project with Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. (MEI), best known by
its Panasonic brand.
Quantum will be demonstrating the incorporation of Quantum's
QuickView(TM) digital storage technology into a Panasonic
High-Definition Television (HDTV) application. This design will enable
an HDTV receiver to record in multiple HD formats and to immediately
access any recorded content. Quantum QuickView's AVHDD technology will
grant viewers the benefits of instant rewind, slow motion and even
pause of live broadcast television.
Members of the press are invited to visit the Quantum booth and
watch as live recordings are manipulated through the use of Quantum's
QuickView incorporated into Panasonic's HDTV application.
For more information about the demonstration, please contact
Stefanie Smith at 303/450-0577 or by e-mail at ssmith@hoffman.com.
During the show, please ask for Margaret Pereira in the Quantum booth.
