Yeah, when we're 102 years old and can hardly move.

Here's the story of my attempt to place a trade at E*Trade's sight.
Just before this post.

Fill in order page and click Preview Order.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again.

30 sec. later - Blank page appears.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page.

1 min. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page.

30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page.

1 min. later - Preview Order page appears.

6 minutes trying to place a trade and I still haven't been
able to send the order in!

I'm can't even be bothered to do all the waiting
and reloads to place the order and then wait 20
or 30 minutes for a confirmation.
Datek here I come! $10.95 a trade. Confirmations
within 1 minute or your trade is commission-free.

Imagine THAT at E*Trade, ha, ha, ha, ha....

Nevertheless, there have been some times during the past few weeks when a limited number of customers may have experienced access problems.

Why is it that I always seem to be one of the "limited number if customers"? Today between 10am and 10:20am I could not place an order and kept receiving the ubiquitous message:

>>Our system has indicated that you may be temporarily having difficulty accessing this particular function of our site. Often this type of issue is resolved within a few minutes, so please try again or feel free to call one of our brokers at 1-800-STOCKS-5 (1-800-786-2575) 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.<<

Limted number?? Define limited ! More trouble today, and still I see adds on TV and in major magazines -!

Dear ETRADE
DON'T add more users until you can serve the ones you have. We need better service to stay in business so we can give you business !
