The Internets are taking a hit pretty much across the board. We came further, faster than most so we probably will get hit the hardest. I thought about selling above 320 but after my near-death experience selling at 256 I couldn't bring myself to do it. We'll consolidate around the 270s, 280s and move up again before the split.

<<What's going on? Is this just profit taking?>>

Please see my post # 6976. In short, nothing to worry about, even if CMGI goes down to 210 to 220 level. CMGI is hypervolatile, more volatile than almost all 'net stocks. After it completes its "cor-
rection" it may trade sideways until its split. Then, when it is at 105-110 level after split, everyone will "rediscover" what an internet "bargain" it is and pile back into it, driving it up to 140-160 range.

Remember, this has nothing to do with fundamentals!! It's just normal CMGI behavior.

Today was interesting; the S&P and DOW became unlinked-the action definitely signaled a 5th Elliot wave. Which way do we go?

Tomorrow will show continued volatility. The bulls and bears will be fighting it out.

Today was about sector rotation
NDX top 2232, we ended the day down 77 at 2104 well below the ten day moving average. Support is 2100. We must close at or above 2100 tomorrow or the sell off will continue.

The Inet index was down 23 to 331 and failed to make a new top today after topping out yesterday.

Basically, the market is sitting on a razors edge. Focus less on CMGI tomorrow and more on what the indexes are doing. You will find the real story there.
